The Chinese team created a surprise in the first Big Event match after 10 months.

Jamyoung is overwhelming 3Dmax with 1.79 rating

Typo started the journey at ESL Pro League S21 with a 2-0 surprise victory over 3DMax (Ancient 13-10, Inferno 13-5). This is the first time this organization has participated in a Big Event since ESL Pro League S19 in April 2024.

Typo's ability to definitely shine when they defeated a team with 103 steps higher than themselves on the Valve rankings, despite their unstable performance in regional tournaments in 2025.

Jamyoung exploded

Typo's overwhelming victory has great merit thanks to Yi's excellent performance "Jamyoung" Yang, who reached an average rating of 1.76 in both the series and continuously brought about the opening of the Chinese team.

The series started with the Ancient map, where the 23-year-old gamer had a god acting on the T-side side with a rating 2.24. He won 6 of the 7 gunfights opening and achieved Impact Rating 2.22, enough for Typo to win 13-10 even though both of them started with a score of 0-3 due to losing to Round Pistol.

Typo's powerful attack play continues to work on Inferno, helping them to lead 8-2 and easily convert the advantage into a 13-5 victory, even when 3Dmax has a little protest at the end of the first half.

3DMAX continues to be disappointing

3DMax has successfully launched with Alexandre "Bodyy" Pianaro in the IEM Dallas qualifier, where they defeated Nevermore and Heroic to win tickets to the US event relatively easily.

However, their performance on the stage of Lan Lan at PGL Cluj-Napoca was not smooth. Failure to Mouz and Eternal Fire pushed them into the group 2-2, before a bitter defeat against the Saw squad was about to dissolve, making them missed an appointment with the playoffs.

The journey at 3DMAX's EPL also started not as desired with the disappointing defeat against Typo. This means that the French team will have to fight from group 0-1 if they want to win tickets to the next round.
